- A degree in engineering or technology (B.E. or B.Tech.) or a comparable credential in a related field is required for an engineering graduate apprentice.
- A diploma in engineering or technology in a related field is known as an engineering diploma apprentice.

- The final year marksheet will be used to determine the Inter-se Merit based on the marks earned in the Graduate or Diploma program.
